I grew up in Minneapolis, MN., and come from an interesting family system, not unlike many others, as all families are unique in their own right. As a young adult, I moved throughout the United States and Europe as I was involved with the U.S. military. I have worked in many different forms of employment throughout my life, and began my career in mental health in 2016, working with traumatized children and families doing in-home services. I graduated with my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018, and am currently in the Doctoral program for Counselor Education and Supervision, obtaining my PhD. I completed the Minnesota state licensing exam to receive my LPCC in October of 2018, and am now working my way toward licensure.
I have a personal understanding of many life concerns including, but not limited to: LGBTQ+, anxiety, depression, sex work, domestic violence, substance use, veterans affairs, trauma, grief, couples therapy, family conflict, child/adolescent, and sexual abuse.
I specialize in assisting individuals whom identify as LGBTQ+, non-binary, or those that fall at any place on the spectrum of gender, or identify as any orientation. Even those whom are unsure where they fit into this ever-changing gender evolution that we are currently living in, there is a place for you to explore these things, feelings and ideas.
