Social Media Policy

Content Sharing:

Genuine Therapy Center (GTC) will share content related to our mental health therapy practice, such as tips for managing stress, information about mental health conditions, and updates about our services. We will also share information about events or activities we are involved in.

Responding to Comments:

GTC does not actively monitor social media. Please contact our office with comments and questions for a timely response. Comments should not contain sensitive information nor violate our policies; we reserve the right to remove any comments for any reason.

Protecting Privacy:

GTC will not share any identifying information about our clients or patients on social media platforms, even if the individual has shared this information on a public forum. Be aware that sharing personal information in public spaces can compromise privacy and the confidentiality of mental health treatment.

HIPAA Compliance:

GTC will comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the protection of protected health information (PHI) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We will not share any PHI on social media platforms, even if the individual has given us permission to do so.

Moderation:

GTC reserves the right to remove any comments or content that violates our policies, is offensive, or contains inappropriate language or imagery.
